In order to securely process orders and send messages over the company network, I will need to make sure information is properly encrpyted. My company will have its own public key which will be given to all employees. The public key will enable messages or orders with classified information to turn from plaintext to ciphertext making it useless, garbled information.
Only myself, and a few other high-ranking administrators will have acess to the private key. The private key will enable decryption of an encrypted message. If an employee needs a message to be decrypted, someone with acess to the private key will decrypt it.
As is required by law, my company will have a digital certificate to identify an e-mail as one that was sent from my company. It proves the legitimacy of the e-mail and helps to fight phishing. If customers are receiving order confirmations and the like, they need to know that it's coming from my company's website and that it's not a fraudulent message with malware embedded in it.

Key Video Concepts
On the website promoting my company's product, there will be videos demonstrating how my products works. The videos being posted will be similar to those on YouTube as they will be use progressive streaming. The videos shouldn't be expected to be any longer than 10 minutes therefore on demand progressive streaming should be adequate enough as I'm looking for content not quality in the videos.
My website, also similar to YouTube, will enable users of the product to post their own videos praising the product's performance. Users will will be able to make their own accounts post their videos in variety of formats from mov, mpeg, or avl. The process will be hassle-free allowing anyone from amateurs to fulll-time professional full access with just the click of a button.
My company will be based around PC's therefore I will impliment the use of Windows Silverlite. Silverlite will soon replace Media and will be the preeminent Windows codec for playing movies. silverlite is a good choice as it will be ready available on all computer formats.

Networking
I will expect that many customers will be ordering my product over the web. In order to ensure the information they enter on my company's website is secure, I will have to establish a secure connection. Therefore, when someone presses the "buy now" link on my website, the web protocol or http at the being of the domain name will change to ssl or https for a secure connection. This will encrypt any sensitive information sent over the internet.
The domain name for my company site will be probably be http://www.suctionhandryer.com/ but I'll check with ICANN to make sure that the name is valid. Once that's established, I will have to configure my DNS server to translate the domain name letters into the numbers of the IP adress. I plan to eventually expand internationally as well, therefore will add country code names to the website if it's trying to be accessed in another country other than the U.S.
For online customer support or another service that answers customer's inquiries, I will need to make sure that my newtork has a Simple Network Time Protocol server or a SNTP server. This server will temporarily store E-mails sent throught the network which can then be retrieved using Post Office Protocol (POP) and Internet Message Access Protocol or IMAP. POP will transfer the message from the SNTP server while IMAP will copy the actual message being sent. The outcome will be fast and easy customer support through the internet.

Database Managment Continued
My company will do its best to be as organized and efficient as possible. In order to accomlish this, a client/server method will be used. Seeing as this approach offers maximum accessibility to clients, it will enable them to reach information through a secure company network to the main servers. Queries can be sought and recieved using this system.
My company will use Oracle software to power its database system. Using this software, I will be able to store datum that corresponds with other datum to decrease confusion. My employees will be able to look-up a customer's records and verify their order and so forth.
To make sure that all of my data is reliable and is structered to contemporary standards, I will make sure to normalize my database. I will use the five fundamental steps in creating a data base which include: keeping every cell in a Microsoft Access doucument to one piece of datum, organizing the columns by ensuring that only one type of datum is in each cell, making sure that every colum has a relevant purpose in the data spreadsheet, differentiating the rows from one another, and by ensuring that certain data is never stored in more than one place on the system. Records will be able to be stored and retrived easily upon request whether its the employee or customer who is seeking for information.

Database Management
In order to keep track of how many sales my company makes of my product, I will use spreadsheet applications since it is the easiest and fastest way to store large amounts of data within the bowels of the system server. I will require my staff to use the Zoho spreadsheet application because one spreadsheet project can be worked on by multiple people in different locations at the same time. Since Excel is the preeminent application, I will have my staff convert the Zoho files into Excel files which is another good reason for using Zoho.
While ultimately using Excel for data management, I will make it manadatory that all documents are to be conditionally formatted. This will enable fast browsing of the key elements in an Excel spreadsheet. There will be set of company guidelines as to the color coating scheme when conditionally formatting Excel documents.
Additionally, emphasis will be put on the use of pivot tables for further summary and analysis of major data spreadsheets that are convoluted with lots of information. These tables will enable the breakdown of information. For example, the amount of units, in this case hand dryers, sold in a certain country and the total profits made from that sale are just one of many ways to chop-up the data to view in simplier terms for overall maximum effciency.

Security and Recovery Procedure
Due to the rising cases in identity theft, the website for my product will include a secure connection. Just like on the LMS, customers will create an account which will include a password and password question to retrive it if they forget it. Also, the connection to the account will get timed-out if it is inactive for a certian period of time.
As I will gradually have to upgrade system servers and replace outdated parts such as the hard drive, I will make sure to properly dispose of the component so there is no risk of an information leak. My company will abide by the Department of Defense Standard. I will either use the method in which one character is used to overwrite all files or completely destroy the hard drive by burning, smashing, etc.
In the rare case that there is a system crash that erases all of the information, my servers will be equipped with the proper retrieval software. Mareware's Stellar Phoenix software will be installed on all computers. I will have a skilled team of computer technicians on hand who will know how to work the software and the programs on it.

Hard Drive Capacity
Assuming that this product will be a hit, my company will need a website to process orders and keep track of shipments and the like. To process and store all of these purchases, i'll need a server with enough RAM and hard drive capacity. With the up and coming concept of mass-produced computers with Terabyte drives, it would seem logical to start off with one of those. It would help to stay ahead of the game and allow more shipments to be processed a day thus, increasing profits.

My Proposal
Have you ever walked out of a public bathroom with your hands sopping wet? Have you ever noticed that those supposed hand dryers never fully dry your hands? Well, that issue will finally be addressed with the new Suction Hand-dryer (name pending).
As is implied by the name, the product will will suck any excess water off of the user's hands rather than blow water off as is seen with conventional hand dryers today. By using suction, this hand dryer will be more effective at throughly drying hands and even more environmentally friendly than typical hand dryers. In essence, the dryer will work much like a vaccum cleaner.
Powerful jets or motors will be used to power the machine. It should only take a matter of seconds for the dryer to completly dry an individual's hands and becasue the excess water is being sucked up into the machine rather than being blown towards the floor, bathroom floors will be easier to walk on and less slippery. As an added bonus, the water being sucked up will lead to a special filter which will purify the water and use it for drinking or sanitary purposes. No resources are being wasted with the Suction Hand-dryer. It follows the policy of reduce, reuse, and recycle.
